RIMOWA x Porsche Design Sleek Cases Inspired By Vintage 911 Car

In a collaboration that sees two behemoths of German design companies teaming up, RIMOWA has partnered with Porsche to create a limited-edition hand-carry case that’s sure to make you the most fashionable traveler on board any flight. 

Known as the Hand-Carry Case Peipita, the piece merges both houses’ iconic design elements, drawing inspiration from RIMOWA’s signature grooved aluminum cases and Porsche’s first-generation ‘911’ car. 

The case’s glossy exterior is a nod to the silver touches on the vehicle, which was first created in 1963 as the Porsche 901 before adopting the‘911’ moniker later on. Plus, for that extra touch of pizzaz, it comes adorned with Porsche’s unmistakable logo on the front. 

Furthermore, the interior of the case boasts an X-strap “seatbelt” mechanism to keep all your belongings safe on the bumpiest of tarmacs.

It features Houndstooth Pepita fabric, smart-looking black leather accents, and even a yellow instructional label that’s reminiscent of one found in a Porsche trunk. 

Only 911 pieces of the case will be available, and will launch on April 21 at selected RIMOWA locations, Porsche dealerships, and its online store.
