Teen climate activist Greta Thunberg has partnered with Penguin Random House on a handbook to help readers learn ways of tackling Earth’s climate crisis, which will feature contributions from over 100 leading academics and authors.
The Climate Book will include essays from novelists Margaret Atwood and Amitav Ghosh, scientist Saleemul Huq, and even the World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
Not only will the publication be a guide to understanding ways to protect our planet, but it will also explain how different components, such as environmental conservation, sustainability practices, and safeguarding the welfare of indigenous populations play an important role in the matter.
Within its pages, Thunberg shares her own stories of “learning, demonstrating, and uncovering greenwashing around the world, revealing the extent to which we have been kept in the dark.”
The book will be available in stores from October 27 in the UK, with copies coming to the US in early 2023.
