Covering the sectors of health, technology, and beauty, Therabody’s new device, the TheraFace PRO, aims to go “where no facial device has gone before.”
To achieve this lofty goal, the company has taken the technology behind the famed Theragun to optimize percussive therapy for the face—meant to help users reduce tension, relax facial muscles, and even deal with discomfort from migraines, headaches, or jaw pain.
By weaving together FDA-cleared facial therapies, including skin-toning micro current therapy, rejuvenating light therapy, tension-relieving Cryothermal Technology, and percussive therapy, the device provides a customizable experience for every unique face, with interchangeable magnetic ring attachments that allow you to switch or combine the various treatments.
“Our philosophy on product design and development is to live in the future with a focus on three fundamental principles: accessibility, ease of use, and innovation with solutions,” explained Benjamin Nazarian, CEO of Therabody.
“It took us two years to develop this comprehensive device. TheraFace PRO will help transform people’s facial health routines on a global level, and like all our products, we hope this device will act as a catalyst to helping people understand the importance of self-care,” he added.
Therabody says that as the device targets over 40 facial muscles we use on a daily basis, it “goes beyond skin health” and could help alleviate migraines and jaw soreness.
Additionally, the TheraFace PRO is suited to every complexion, from skincare gurus to athletes who need extra TLC for their skin due to sun exposure, sweat, aging, or any kind of aches and pains.
“We applied our origins and expertise in percussive therapy to create a game-changing product with a precise amplitude and other modalities specifically designed for the face,” said Dr Jason Wersland, Founder of Therabody.
The device isnow available for US$399 online and at retail locations including Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Dillard’s, Best Buy, and Target.
