FIFA Kicks Off Free FIFA+ Streaming Platform With 2,000+ Hours Of World Cup

FIFA has just released FIFA+, a free streaming platform that will allow fans access to live football matches, interactive games, and tournament information from anywhere in the world.

Plus, you’ll get to dive into the entirety of its archives, with over 2,000 hours of content from every FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup ever recorded on camera. 

“FIFA+ represents the next step in our vision to make football truly global and inclusive, and it underpins FIFA’s core mission of expanding and developing football globally,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino. 

“This project represents a cultural shift in the way different types of football fans want to connect with and explore the global game and has been a fundamental part of my Vision 2020-2030. It will accelerate the democratization of football and we are delighted to share it with fans,” he added.

Choose from full-match replays, highlights, goals, or just key moments, traveling back in time to the 1950s to catch your favorite players in action throughout history.

Furthermore, FIFA has said that by the end of the year, it will stream the equivalent of 40,000 live games annually across all six confederations, including 11,000 women’s matches to boost the sport’s popularity.

Exclusive documentaries will also be offered, from biopics on Ronaldinho to interviews with the world’s most famous Golden Boot winners.

At launch, FIFA+ will be available in English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish, with more languages to be made available in June.
