Zara Steps Into Picasso’s Daily Life With Arty New Homeware Collection

Last month, a new exhibition paying homage to Maya Ruiz-Picasso, Pablo Picasso’s daughter, opened at the Musée Picasso Paris, France. Exploring the artist’s works in relation to his relationship with his daughter, the displays offer a different look into the famed maestro’s life, and how he was within the home. 

Taking this vision of homely Picasso, Zara Home has now launched a special collection inspired by the unique exhibition, and how the artist spent quiet days in Cannes.

According to The Zoe Report, while Picasso is often known for his cubist and surrealist art, this collection pays more attention to the motifs he created, which feature prominently on the plates, linen napkins, and vases in the capsule.

In addition to prints of his works, many of the items in the collection are adorned with the phrase “Il neige au Soleil,” which, as per Stylist, was taken from a poem the artist had written to his daughter.
