In a big step forward for the retail giant, Amazon has officially opened its first physical Amazon Style clothing store. Located at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, California, the brick-and-mortar outlet will offer a wide variety of apparel, accessories, and footwear for both men and women.
Merging technology with old-school shopping, customers will be able to browse items from well-known brands and emerging designers. By scanning the QR code on a product, you’ll be able to view all its available sizes, colors, customer ratings, and additional product details.
Plus, with just a click on the Amazon Shopping app, you can send the outfits you’d like to try on to a fitting room that’s equipped with a touchscreen—so you can sit back, relax, and rate the apparel, or even request more sizes to be delivered directly in just minutes.
Once the store’s algorithm has gotten to know your tastes, it’ll offer up personalized real-time recommendations as you shop, allowing you to enter more specific information, including your favorite styles and fits, to receive better suggestions.
“Personal styling used to be expensive and feel exclusive, but with Amazon Style’s sophisticated technology, unique store design, and thoughtful curation, we’ve made it easier than ever for customers to discover items they’ll look and feel great in,” said Simoina Vasen, Managing Director at Amazon Style.
