Forget water cooler talk or even nap pods—one sex startup believes in letting employees, erm, singlehandedly over-come stress with virtual-reality masturbation cubicles. They’re ‘Wank Pods’, if you will.
The ‘Wank Pods’, brought to our attention by Futurism, are designed by adult live cam site Stripchat and come fully equipped with gizmos to guarantee a fun time. It is fitted out with a 4K LED screen to watch footage from, as well as includes an Oculus Quest VR headset for the most immersive romps you can have on your own. Lotion is also at hand; and because hygiene is of utmost importance, the booths come with tissues too.
Stripchat’s 200-plus workers are entitled to 30-minute masturbation breaks—something it endearingly calls “fappy hour.” There’s one of these high-tech pods installed in its Cyprus office to encourage this.
Accordingly, the startup plans to rent out the self-shag shacks to other companies, with a fee of US$50,000 for six months, The Sun reports.
