Say hello to ‘ZiGGY’, the latest product by flexible electric vehicle (EV) charging technology firm EV Safe Charge, which will function as a mobile robot that brings on-demand power-ups to parking facilities, shopping and entertainment centers, hotels, and properties across the country. 

At the moment, most stationary EV chargers are bulky, and require costly electrical infrastructure, thus making many property owners hesitant about installing the technology in their buildings. With ZiGGY, the dilemma is suddenly removed, as the robot can zip around the parking lot without having to remain in one place. 

Plus, setting itself apart from other chargers, the robot will feature digital advertisements, allowing the venue to raise funds by selling the advertising space or opting to promote its ongoing activities and offerings.

Drivers simply have to use the corresponding mobile app to summon the robot to their vehicle, ready to reserve a parking space for charging. Impressively, ZiGGY can return to its home base after each charge is completed, and can recharge itself from the grid, battery, or even by using solar energy.
