Capcom Dishes Out Life-Sized Steak Pillows In ‘Raw’ & ‘Well-Done’

Capcom, a Japanese video game developer, has recently debuted what could become the most sought-after accessory among Monster Hunter fans: ‘raw’ and ‘well-done’ steak pillows. 

In full-size glory, the two pillows depict a chunk of steak still on the bone, in either a reddish, uncooked hue for the ‘raw’ version; and a charred brown for the other. Oh, and did we mention that it’ll set you back ¥16,280 JPY (US$120) for one of these?

According to Geek Culture, in the game, players are tasked with hunting down dinosaur-like monsters, and receive raw meat when successful, with the option of—we’re not making this up—barbecuing it to your desired doneness. 

Sparing no expense, the company modeled the pillows after the exact size they appear as in-game, measuring approximately 890 mm x 230 mm x 170 mm (35 inches x 9 inches x 6.6 inches), or wide enough for an adult to rest their head on it.
