BrewDog Debuts ‘Boris Lie-PA’ After Hearing About Prime Minister’s Resignation
As the UK bids goodbye to Prime Minister Boris Johnson following news of his resignation, BrewDog is releasing a special beverage for those looking to throw a party.
The ‘Boris Lie-PA’ is a 5.5% ABV beer that is described as “soft, fruity, and beautifully balanced,” with the brand cheekily adding that it’s “fit for a work party,” in reference to Johnson’s lockdown-era faux pas.
“Boris Lie-PA is a hazy IPA, which in keeping with its namesake, lacks transparency,” the Scottish brewery added, promising the beer wouldn’t “outstay its welcome.”
The limited-edition beverage is now available for pre-order, retailing at £5.95 (US$7.16) for four cans and £16.95 (US$20.40) for a dozen.
