An impressive sight walked into Berlin Fashion Weekend and greeted sneakerheads: influencers taking a dip in the world’s first supersized ‘Sneakerpool’, modeled after two Adidas ZX 10000s.
The XXL swimming pool was crafted from materials available to buy in any store of HORNBACH, a DIY brand with a track record for bringing its out-of-the-box ethos to, well, outside the box—this time in collaboration with creative agency Heimat and production company Neulant van Exel.
The campaign was originally launched as part of the ‘Joint Path’ collection celebrating local sneaker brand 43einhalb’s 10th anniversary, with the Adidas ZX 10000 chosen by the community as the one design everyone wanted to have turned into a giant swimming pool.
