Real ‘Stranger Things’ Surfer Boy Pizza Delivers A Slice Of The Fictional Joint
Netflix’s Stranger Things has left fans craving not only the next season but also the non-existent pizza brand, Surfer Boy Pizza. Viewers’ cries have been heard, as a special line of frozen ‘Surfer Boy Pizzas’ is now available in partnership with Walmart.
The packaging, which was designed to look exactly like the ones used in the sci-fi hit, is probably the most exciting aspect of the pizzas. It has the same red and white-checkered motifs, as well as a picture of a surfer dude riding a wave on a slice of pepperoni pizza.
Each box has a different character on the back as well as a pair of pop-out glasses that say, “You gotta see it to believe it, my dudes!”
At US$7 a box, the frozen pizzas come in four flavors: Pepperoni, Multi-Meat, Supreme, and Jalapeño. The fun, 80s-inspired packaging will make it the perfect companion on your next Stranger Things binge.
To make the experience even more realistic, Netflix has included a real-life number from the series. If you call the number 804-45-PIZZA, a recorded message from Surfer Boy employee Argyle (played by Eduardo Franco) will start playing.
