While hipsters and coffee snobs continue to debate over the best single-origin bean, there’s a new café in town to try out a pricey cuppa: Ettore’s Espresso Bar, Bugatti’s own espresso bar.
Open to the public for the first time, the London store—named after the luxury automaker’s founder Ettore Bugatti—is offering up a £50 (US$59) shot of espresso. And before you balk, the hefty price tag is most likely because the coffee comes served in a Bugatti carbon fiber espresso cup, the stuff the brand’s cars are made of.
In fact, clients who purchase The Ettore Shot will be granted full access to the showroom lounge, where they’ll get to see the Bugatti display up close, before relaxing on armchairs made from the same leather and blue-tinted carbon fiber found in the vehicle.
Furthermore, the showroom features a selection of art installations and sculptures reflecting the company’s history and heritage, designed to “convey a shared passion for the Bugatti brand and everything it stands for.”
While bringing home a Bugatti supercar may be a touch out of reach, the showroom offers a variety of merchandise options, ranging from baseball caps to pens, that’ll make the perfect souvenir.
