Much fanfare has surrounded LEGO’s unveiling of ‘The Mighty Bowser’ set, a massive adults-only 2,807-piece figure coming to stores in October this year. The largest set yet in the toymaker’s Super Mario series, the hefty edition is expected to retail for US$269.99.

Now, it seems Bowser has grown even bigger, to a whole 14 feet tall! While you won’t be able to build this “king-sized” boss all by yourself at home, you’ll get to see it in person if you head to the San Diego Comic-Con, which is taking place from July 21 to July 24, 2022.

According to Hypebeast, the one-of-a-kind display comprises a jaw-dropping 663,900 LEGO pieces, all of which will come to life with a special design that will see the character’s head, eyes, neck, mouth, and tail move with a touch of a button.

In fact, an interactive element will be included in the oversized version so that Bowser’s roar can be heard loud and clear at the event.

With Bowser being one of the most prominent characters of the video game franchise, there’s no doubt this king-sized King of the Koopas will be a popular attraction at Comic-Con next week.
