Anti-Vax Dating Site Unwittingly Leaves All Its User Data Exposed Online

If you thought online dating sites couldn’t get more niche, you’d be wrong. Recent reports have emerged of Unjected, a platform created specifically for individuals who reject COVID-19 vaccinations. 

Claiming to be the “largest unvaccinated platform” online, the network brands itself as a way for users to put unvaccinated blood, semen, eggs, or breastmilk up for donation. Strange indeed.

Bodily fluids aside, it seems the site hasn’t caught media attention for the right reasons, with Daily Dot reporting that the platform is facing vital cybersecurity issues and had unwittingly left all of its user data exposed online. 

GeopJr, a security researcher who hails from Greece, was the first to sound the alarm, noting that he could easily access the network’s administrator dashboard—allowing him to add, edit, or deactivate pages, and even worse, access any user’s key information. 

The programmer told the publication that none of the actions he attempted require “any kind of authentication,” and that anyone could “directly manipulate parts of its database and its content,” including names, birth dates, email addresses, and even physical locations. 

After its cybersecurity flaw was pointed out, Unjected toggled between going online and offline throughout the whole of last weekend, though it appeared to be back for good from July 25. 

As Mashable notes, this isn’t the first time the dating platform has faced difficulties, considering it was kicked off the Apple App Store last year for violating its policies, and has since only been used by Android users or those on desktop.
