Mercedes Transforms Its Sports Car Seats Into Comfort-Driven Office Chairs

Colleagues, take the wheel. Mercedes-AMG’s newest offering seeks to drive productivity and comfort at work, having just released a set of office chairs made from the seats of its sports cars.

The AMG Office Chair delivers a piece of racing ingenuity and transforms it into everyday furniture. The racing subsidiary of Mercedes Benz incorporates its knowledge of sport into comfort as it takes features from its racing seats.  

The collection pays homage to racing seats, which are designed to fit the body of the driver and keep them secure while competing. The workplace chairs will be produced at the same factory as the Performance seats and were designed with the same technology.  

So, whether you’re accelerating through some emails or settling in for the long drive, rest assured that Mercedes-AMG has got your back with adjustable seats, high backrest, bolstered sides, and seat extensions—all the makings of a first-class race car seat.  

It also has three holes where the seatbelts would have been placed and the famous AMG crest lodged into the chair to really drive the image of race cars home.

The chairs have also been upholstered in the same high-quality Artico and Dinamica black leather used in the cars. To add to the sporty flair of the design, red racing stripes have been stitched into the chair.
