Marvel’s Infinity Stones Have Been Brought To This Reality As Precious Gems

A set of gems based on The Avengers’ Infinity Stones now exist. Only thing: They are selling for US$25 million, proving that the only superpower you would need to collect them is to be a multimillionaire. 

The real-world Infinity Gauntlet, created through a partnership between Marvel and East Continental Gems, features actual precious gems in the style and color of the films and comics.

The president of East Continental Gems, Adam Mirzoeff, told The Hollywood Reporter that he was immediately drawn to the look of the gems and the role they played in the franchise.

When he realized there wasn’t a proper, real-life counterpart to the movie prop, he decided to source the gems himself. 

Mirzoeff took off on his own journey to collect the stones, keeping in mind their rarity, color, and quality before finally assembling his own set of the ‘Infinity Gems’. 

The collection includes a sapphire from Madagascar to represent the Space Stone; a Colombian Emerald as the Time Stone; a yellow diamond as the Mind Stone; a ruby from Mozambique as the Power Stone; and a spessartite as the Soul Stone. In total, the jewels amount to 150 carats.

To house the precious gems, a custom-made gauntlet is made to replicate the one worn by Thanos. 

So while you may not need to band together a rag-tag team of the world’s finest superheroes and race through space to defeat an all-powerful titan before you get your hands on the infinity stones, you will need a Stark Industries-like consortium under your helm to afford it.
