The Only James Bond Car From The Movies That Fans Can Buy

Fans can get up close and personal with the life of 007 at a storied, 60-lot auction held by Christie’s , in collaboration with Eon Productions.

As its name describes, the Sixty Years of James Bond sale will include movie memorabilia from all Bond films over the last six decades, including the crème de la crème, the Aston Martin DB5. 

Perhaps one of the most well-known cars in film history, the silver Aston Martin has been at Bond’s side since Goldfinger and has driven Bond on countless adventures right up until No Time To Die. The stunt car is estimated to sell for anywhere between £1.5 million (US$1.83 million) and £2 million (US$2.43 million). 

It is one of eight that were produced for the films and, according to Christie’s, it is the only one that has been issued for public sale. This car also includes modifications for the gadgets used in the No Time To Die film and damage to the side of the car as seen in the movie. 

The car is also fully functional, meaning you can take it out for a spin. However, it is being sold as a “non-runner” and has not been approved for use on the roads. So, while you won’t be able to chase down notorious villain Goldfinger anytime soon, it will at least look like a sweet addition to your garage. 

All proceeds from the sale of the car will go to the Prince’s Trust and the Prince of Wales’ Charitable Fund, which is in support of discharged members of the UK Intelligence Agencies and Special Forces. 

Two other Aston Martins will also be on sale, including an Aston Martin V8 also driven by Daniel Craig in the film, and an Aston Martin Superleggera, which was modified for the film with a plaque of signatures from the movie’s producers on it. The proceeds will go to the United Kingdom for UNHCR in relief of the war in Ukraine and to The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, respectively. 

However, vehicles aren’t the only thing going up for auction. Each actor that has ever played Bond will get his own dedicated segment where an item representing that era of the film will be sold. Original clothes, watches, music scores, props, and even a five-night stay at the Goldeneye estate in Jamaica, where Ian Flemming wrote all of the James Bond books, are also up for grabs. 

The auction will be split into two parts beginning on September 28 and will end on October 5.
