Meta’s AI Chatbot Has Opinions On Its Boss Mark Zuckerberg, Calls Him ‘Creepy’
Meta’s newly released AI chatbot, BlenderBot 3, has only been working for the company for a short time, but has already made known some very honest thoughts about its boss, Mark Zuckerberg.
BlenderBot 3 is Meta’s most advanced chatbot and is publicly accessible via a website. The bot is able to search through the internet in order to give responses to questions and was designed to continuously improve itself as it learns through natural conversation.
Some users have taken this opportunity to cheekily ask about Zuckerberg, because who better to find out from than an ‘employee’?
BuzzFeed data scientist, Mark Woolf, created a thread on Twitter that compiled different questions asked to the chatbot about Zuckerberg. The responses, however, have been rather varied. One moment it was saying he’s a “great person”, and the next it made fun of his clothing choices.

It then went on to give even more perplexing opinions, fluctuating between the sentiment that Zuckerberg was its “favorite billionaire” and saying that he was “creepy and controlling”.

It even went on to somewhat agree with the notion of Zuckerberg being an alien but said that despite this, it still liked him. This just showed that it could have rather strong sentiments—good or bad—towards its maker.

Obviously, the responses all came down to what the internet actually inquired, rather than initiated by the chatbot itself. Zuckerberg has created quite a reputation of himself on the web and has been at the center of many controversies and memes alike—search results online probably prompted such mixed responses from BlenderBot 3.
According to CNET, which conducted its own experiment with the bot, BlenderBot 3 candidly expressed it’s “not crazy about Facebook.”
That says it all.
