Planters Is Giving ‘Sweet & Spicy’ Mullets So Fans Can Get Out Of Their Shells

It’s summer, and to accompany Planters’ Sweet & Spicy Dry Roasted Peanuts, the brand is offering fans a chance to get a hair makeover of what it calls the “boldest hairstyle out there”—yes, the mullet. 

Just like the mix of spicy and sweet, the mullet is deceptively normal-looking in the front but a party in the back, and who else to help design the best version of this hairstyle other than singer Oliver Tree, who’s known for rocking crazy do’s for years?

“The moment I tried this new sweet and spicy flavor, something came over me and I immediately knew I had to spice up my own life,” quipped Tree. 

“The first thing I did was hit the hair salon and have them add horns to my bowl cut mullet. A little extra spice on top never hurt,” he added. 

If you’re game enough to commit to the wild side, the Sweet & Spicy Mullet comes with a 16-ounce jar of Planters Sweet & Spicy Peanuts from August 12, while stocks last. Fans are welcome to put their own spin on the do, and share the results with the brand on social media.
