Apple Attempts To Bring Workers Back With Three-Days-Per-Week Policy

It’s hardly a secret that Apple employees have been resisting the company’s attempts at bringing them back to the office, having grown accustomed to working from home for over two years. 

Now, in its latest attempt, the technology giant has issued a September 5 deadline for corporate employees to return to work in person for at least three days a week. 

According to Fortune, the firm will require staff to be present in the office on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third day determined by individual team leaders. 

While in recent months, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google have become more relaxed about hybrid working conditions, CNBC points out that this move could be a sign that Apple is still pushing its preference for in-person meetings and collaborations.

Will employees head back as instructed? Or will there be yet another hiccup in the process? Based on the open letter workers wrote to the executive team previously, it certainly will take a good amount of convincing before everyone is open to leaving the comfort of their homes.
