Corsair Unveils Monitor You Can Physically Bend To Suit Your Viewing Needs

Curved and flat monitors each have their own benefits. However, a big con is not being able to have both at once to take advantage of the immersion that comes with curved screens and the productivity of flat ones. Well, now Corsair is giving you the chance to have everything you want in a display.

Corsair is bending the way the gaming monitor market is working by creating a screen you can physically manipulate to fit your needs.

The Xenon Flex 45WQHD240 OLED was created in close collaboration with LG, which previously dabbled in a bendable TV protoype in 2021. LG has lent its W-OLED technology over to Corsair to create this immersive and productive new screen.

Unlike normal displays, the terminal has handles at its sides for users to pull or push it to the degree they wish the screen to be curved or flattened. It has a maximum radius of 800R for its curve.

As far as specs go for the display, it is a 45-inch screen with a 21:9 ultrawide panel. It has a peak brightness of 100 nits and a refresh rate of 240Hz.

There is no word on the pricing as of yet, but details are expected to be released later this year.

The Xenon Flex joins a niche group of computer terminals which also include Samsung’s fully-curved Odyssey Ark monitor, which can be converted from landscape to portrait mode with a swift sleight of hand.
