McDonald’s Produces A Jingle For Sprite, Capturing Its ‘Crunchy’ Taste
McDonald’s Sprite has become a meme of its own in the past few years, with fans of the fast-food giant citing that it tastes like “static” or that it feels “crispy”—a fair observation considering that the Sprite from its fountains is often a lot fizzier than the regular Sprite from the bottle.
So, how else to get rid of a bad reputation? Laugh along with everybody else and create a song out of it.

McDonald’s has decided to embrace the meme, enlisting TikTok-famous rapper TisaKorean to produce a jingle dedicated to the one and only “crunchy Sprite.”
The song is aptly named “Static” by TisaKorean feat. Sprite from McDonald’s. Now, you may have noticed that the beverage itself is featured in the credits. Unfortunately, the drink was unavailable to produce a sample for the song and was instead just given a cheeky credit by the producers.

Static is a synth-infused trap ode centered around TisaKorean’s—and many other McDonald’s fans’—love for the electric drink.
A behind-the-scenes video of the creative process details how the chain wanted to perfectly encapsulate Sprite’s lemon and lime goodness, interwoven with a shot of that famous “static.”
And obviously, this story would not be complete without a TikTok challenge to partake in the song, as users are encouraged to dance along or put their own spin on the number with the hashtag #McDonaldsStaticSprite.
The Sprite song is a perfect way to close off the summer on McDonald’s end, joining its Camp McDonald’s virtual campsite starring various celebrity acts.
