Anker Debuts Health-Sensing Earbuds That Read Your Heartbeat Throughout The Day

 
Anker’s Soundcore division is stepping up to assume the functions of smartwatches and fitness rings by placing a heart-measuring sensor right in your ears. 
 
The Liberty 4 earbuds’ sensor rests in the right side, emitting a red light whenever it is taking the wearer’s blood oxygen.

While many users will want to use the sensor during workouts, the earpiece can also measure your heart rate continuously throughout the day. And if you do intend to leave the earphones in all day, they are equipped with CloudComfort tips that feature an extra layer to mold to the canal of your ear. 
 
Along with the buds is a dedicated app that allows you to customize workout routines and keep a log of your heart rate at different times of the day. You will also be able to adjust your sound preferences through the app. 

With that being said, Anker has yet to announce the IP rating of the Liberty 4.
 
Though a better insight into your heart isn’t the only thing the earbuds offer, the gadget also comes with spatial audio that can track your head, ensuring that you will always have surround sound regardless of your movement. To do so, Soundcore has implemented a gyroscope to track activity. 

On top of all of this, you can also connect the earpiece to more than one device at a time through the multi-point connectivity option that links up your laptop and phone to the gadget through Bluetooth. 
 
The charging case can keep the Liberty 4 juiced up for 28 hours, and just 15 minutes can produce three hours of playback. The buds themselves boast nine hours of battery life, but that drops to just five when spatial audio is engaged. 
 
Liberty 4 comes in two colors, white and black, and retails for US$149.99. Both versions will be on sale from October 10.
