Nintendo Teases First Sneak Peek At Upcoming ‘Super Mario Bros’ Movie
Fans of Super Mario will be thrilled to hear that Nintendo will soon disclose more details about the forthcoming Super Mario Bros movie at a special Direct presentation. To get the excitement going, the gaming giant has released the first artwork and poster.
The movie presentation, which will include a world premiere trailer, will take place on October 6 during New York Comic-Con, though the company made sure to mention that no game information will be revealed.
Eagle-eyed fans will no doubt be pouring over every detail of the colorful poster, which depicts Mario in Toad Town, with the franchise’s iconic hills dotting the background and Peach’s castle sitting at the top.
There’s even an adorable antique store in the foreground, which IGN notes seems to be offering throwback items not seen in the newer Mario games.
The film boasts a star-studded cast, with Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong.
