Ritz-Carlton Unveils Its First Superyacht For Luxury Hotel Experience Out At Sea

If regular cruise ships don’t tickle your fancy, you’ll soon be able to opt for a new experience on board Ritz-Carlton’s superyacht collection. 

Beginning with the 298-passenger Evrima, the hotelier’s fleet will officially debut on October 15, ferrying guests on a seven-night escapade from Barcelona, Spain, to Nice, France. 

According to Bloomberg, the ship’s construction faced a three-year-long delay, no thanks to the pandemic and supply change issues that caused its launch date to be pushed back eight times.

Nonetheless, as it finally sets sail on open waters, fans of Ritz-Carlton’s hotel stays will no doubt look forward to hopping aboard this “casual modern luxury to sea.” 

The Evrima will give guests the choice of eight different suites—all equipped with high ceilings, king-sized beds, double-vanity bathrooms, and private “terraces” with a view. 

Fun-wise, there’s the picturesque infinity pool to take a dip in, four plunge pools overlooking the sea, and even water sports equipment available on deck for those looking for a more active challenge.

In addition, patrons can opt for other services during the trip, including a supervised children’s program, a spa with indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, and more space per passenger than any other cruise. 

Those thinking of hosting their own dinner parties can do so at Evrima Room, the vessel’s main restaurant, which features a five-course tasting menu with wine pairings by three-Michelin-starred Chef Sven Elverfeld. 

There’s also the option of dining at Talaat Nam for Southeast Asian cuisine, an onboard sushi bar, or of course, 24-hour room service. Did we mention every suite comes with a personal concierge who will wait on you hand and foot?

In its first year, Evrima will sail the Mediterranean and Caribbean, passing through popular destinations such as Ibiza, St Barts, St Tropez, and more. Head here for more information on upcoming itineraries.
