Google Approves Donald Trump’s Truth Social For Play Store After Several Months
Android users, your time has come. Google has officially approved former US President Donald Trump’s Truth Social for its Play Store.
According to Reuters, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the application’s parent company, will soon make the social media platform available for download on Android devices.
“It’s been a pleasure to work with Google, and we’re glad they helped us finally bring Truth Social to all Americans, regardless of what device they use,” said TMTG CEO Devin Nunes.
With Android smartphones making up 40% of the US market, and Google’s Play Store being the primary way the operating system’s users download new applications, Truth Social’s addition will no doubt be a gateway for many more users to access the site.
