Burger King App Adds Ghost-Hunting Tech To Catch Paranormal Activity Around You

Burger King is summoning spooky-season fanatics to take on the task of being amateur ghost hunters this Halloween by equipping its app with spirit-hunting abilities.

 
Yes, that’s right. The fast-food chain is taking one terrifying step forward into the supernatural realm by introducing its own ghost-hunting technology. 

For a limited time, the app will have a section where visitors can scan for paranormal activity using the cameras on their smartphones. In addition, the app has an “electromagnetic field ghost detector” to aid customers in sussing out if ghouls are following them. 
 
And to round out your plans for this Halloween, a new burger is being added to the menu. The ‘Home of the Ghosts Whopper’ departs from the iconic burger by adding an extra layer of spicy queso, crispy jalapeños, and ghost pepper cheese. 
 
But before you rush out to hunt down some ghouls, the phantom-detecting app is only available for Royal Perks Members on the app, where there will also be an exclusive offer for two featuring the new burger from October 17 till the end of the month.
