Bulletproof ‘Doomsday’ Car With Pepper Spray Is Straight Out Of A Video Game

Vehicles equipped with weapons are often fantastic sidekicks in action films. But what if an armed car make those a reality?
 
Rezvani’s Vengeance is a new doomsday-ready automobile that looks cool and can store a few tricks up its bumpers. Its exterior is a beefed-up version of the Cadillac Escalade, which it was based on, and looks as if it just drove straight off the set of G.I Joe.

 
If you think that the SUV itself looks like a mecha suit from Halo, you’re not entirely wrong. The car’s design was created by Milen Ivanov, a game developer who undoubtedly provided the vehicle with a look suited to its capabilities. 

Adding to this, CEO Ferris Rezvani tells Motor1.com that the company had envisioned a “sci-fi video game concept car” for people to own. 
 
The SUV can be bought without fancy weaponry, as that only comes with the Military Package for an extra US$95,000. This entails explosive protection on the underside of its armor, bulletproof glass, a smoke screen, and a pepper spray dispenser, making this the perfect companion should you be caught in a zombie attack.

Despite its tough exterior, it has a relatively luxurious interior with plush leather seats. And depending on which configuration you opt for, you can get reclining chairs that massage you while you blast away your enemies. 
 
You can even install a flat-screen television, or follow down the path of Rolls-Royce and incorporate a star-studded ceiling, if you wish.

Under the hood tells a different story. The car comes with a 6.2-liter V8 engine that can ramp up to speeds of 420 horsepower and 460 foot-pounds of torque, so that you can almost run through walls if you’re desperately trying to survive the apocalypse.
 
As such, wheels like these don’t come cheap. The starting price for Vengeance is US$249,000, and that’s without all the doomsday preparations embedded into it.
