Cyberpunk Earbuds Turn Up The Mood With A Physical Dial For Your Music
As conventional as the category seems, it appears no two (types of, at least) wireless earbuds are alike. There are earpieces that rely on your bones to conduct soundwaves, harness the sun to power your device, and arrive with a futuristic case that transforms into a rotating dial.
That’s precisely what “future art community”Angry Miao is serving up with its latest creation, the CYBERBLADE. The gadget comes in a conical shape and is equipped with RGB lights. The actual part of the bud that sits in your ears is shaped like the AirPods Pro and is sure to provide comfort when used over a long period.
The shape is modeled after The Focus, an earpiece that video game character Aloy wears in Horizon Zero Dawn.
The Cyberblade has ultra-low latency at just 36 milliseconds to give gamers the ultimate playing experience. In addition, Angry Miao has equipped these buds with AI to engage noise cancellation actively.
But perhaps its most exciting feature is its case. Unlike other charging cases meant to house and charge your listening gadgets, the Cyberblade brings back tactile control to the music world by equipping a large dial that sits on top of a base that users can rotate.
The device’s base can be linked to your computer via a USB plug and turned into a switch to control the volume, mute the microphone, and toggle on sound mode. When removed from the dock, the circular portion of the device will serve as a regular charging case.
However, don’t expect to be able to chuck these into your pockets on your way out of the house. Due to its multiple functions, the entire gadget itself is pretty chunky.
The earpieces provide a rich and full sound, perfect for watching movies and playing games. In addition, there are controls on the buds that respond to squeeze gestures. The Cyberblade can provide an average of six hours of listening time.
The Cyberblade is currently on Kickstarter mode and is anticipated to be available in ‘Ghost White’, ‘The Shell Black’, and ‘The Dark Side’ colorways when ready.
