The brand announced that the brick-and-mortar will be set up in London’s fashionable Soho district on 4 Peter Street. And this seems fitting as the team describes the real-life location as a “boutique” rather than a generic tech store, likening the shop’s aesthetic to that of the Italian computer manufacturer Olivetti.
The shop promises an industrial and mid-century design, along with a “unique” way to experience its products.
Nothing plans to showcase and sell its Phone 1, Ear 1, and the incoming Ear Stick. That limited range would have to be sufficient to compete with the vast varieties of tech behemoths like Apple and Samsung, though.
In celebration of the opening—and to draw visitors—Nothing is giving away free merchandise to customers. The first 100 patrons will also be able to purchase limited-edition Ear Sticks.
Nothing has not disclosed a definite date for when the shop will be ready, instead only stating it will be open sometime “before Christmas.”
