Porsche Revs Up 911 Exhaust Pipe Into Luxury Sound Bar That Amplifies The Vroom
Thinking of splurging on a swanky audio system for the home? Well, it doesn’t get any more luxurious than Porsche Design’s newly-launched 911 Soundbar 2.0 Pro.
Claiming to go “from 0 to goosebumps,” the revved-up device isn’t just named after the famed supercar but is, in fact, made from one of its exhaust systems.
It won’t be hard for guests to tell either, considering that when hung on the wall or placed on the accompanying base, it looks exactly like an original car part, just strapped to speakers.
Only 500 pieces of the limited-edition soundbar will be sold, each comprising a 2.1.2 Virtual Surround Sound System with 300 watts of power, 4K compatible HDMI ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and Dolby Atmos DTS-HD.
Plus, you’ll be able to pair it with Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast for extra streaming options.
The 911 Soundbar 2.0 Pro is available for pre-order here, and will retail for US$12,000.
