Part of what makes many superheroes so intriguing is how they stay hidden behind a mask, maintaining an air of mystique. Well, these personal brandings are somewhat like those masks.
Artist Sergey Kyrmanov creates distinct logos for your favorite superheroes and villains that look perfectly like their profiles at first glance. Peer closer and you’ll find that they have secrets written all over their faces—for woven into their masks, face wrinkles, and teeth are their names.
From Spider-Man, Naruto, and Black Panther to Venom, Bane, and Davy Jones, every character gets a literal brand identity they can call their own. The typographic treatments are part of a long-running series the creator calls FACETTERS.
