Casio Channels Retro ‘Super Mario Bros’ To 1UP Its G-SHOCK Watch

Casio is making sure Super Mario Bros. fans are never late to rescuing Princess Peach again with an upcoming watch inspired by the original game from the 1980s.
 
The face of the G-SHOCK DW5600SMB-4 now has a Mario red casing, while a Koopa Troopa shell is displayed on the digital screen. Additionally, an eight-bit Mario along with the ‘1 Up’ symbol appears when you press the backlight.

The straps have also been designed to mirror the aesthetics of the game, featuring its brown, gold, and red colorway with Mario dotted along it, camouflaged through the background.
 
The special Super Mario Bros.-branded watch contains all the typical G-SHOCK features, including an alarm clock, stopwatch, and countdown timer. Additionally, it has a 600-foot water resistance rating.

A red box and tin that hosts an illustration of the game’s opening title and says Mario’s quintessential phrase, “Here we go!” houses the timepiece.
