Statue Of Elon Musk Riding A Rocket Can Blast Fire From Its Behind

Forget suspending verified accounts that impersonate you. If you’re Elon Musk, Twitter overlord and richest person in the world, you could deal with detractors the old testament way: by confusing them with lasers and shooting fire out of your idol’s behind.
As spotted by Boing Boing, crypto bros have commissioned a US$600,000 statue of the crypto god that extols him on a sphinx-like pedestal. The sculpture has a six-foot-tall head—carved out in the likeness of Musk, of course—and a 30-foot-long goat’s body, which is depicted riding a rocket.
The monument was created by Canadian metal sculptor Kevin Stone to serve as the figurehead for the commissioners’ Elon GOAT Token ($EGT) cryptocurrency. Organizers gathered a small tax from every $EGT transaction to fund the construction of the statue, which was completed in June.

Elsewhere, the rocket glides on green upward-trending lines, with Earth hovering above them and Mars in the distance. When switched on, the statue has laser stars floating above its head.
Accordingly, the sculpture can also blast real fire from its rocket, as well as emit smoke, concert lighting, and music.
The creators shared in a whitepaper that they decided to have a Musk idol built because “at every crucial point in human history, a magnum opus, or masterpiece, has captured the essence of that period.”
“Think of the Great Pyramids of Giza. The Statue of David. Picasso’s Guernica. The world now stands upon the brink of the greatest transfer of wealth in its entire history. What better way to enshrine the beginning of this new blazing era, than to do so by celebrating the degenerates involved, alongside the most innovative man of the 21st Century, Elon Musk?” they questioned.
The Elon GOAT sculpture has since toured several states in the US. The goal, though, is to finally transport it to Musk himself. $EGT plans to take the “biblical-sized gift” to him at his Tesla Giga factory in Austin, Texas, on Saturday, November 26.
