Reese’s Puffs Serves Chrome ‘Cereal Bowl’ Purse For Breakfast In Metaverse & IRL

Reese’s Puffs breakfast cereal is literally out of this world, now that it has branched into the metaverse. The confectionery company is leaping into the digital with its own Breakfastverse, a new landscape inspired by the sweet-treat breakfast.
 
The virtual world was designed by jewelry company Ambush, which also teamed up with the candy company for a real-life collection. Fans can now hop into the Breakfastverse and travel through this candy-coated land as they make their way to the top of the Chrome Throne. There, users will stand a chance to win collectible Reese’s Puffs cereal boxes designed by Ambush.
 
As a counterpart to its digital twin, the company will also be hosting at a real-life diner in New York called the ‘Next Breakfast Dimension’. Guests will be able to touch and taste the future of breakfast as Reese’s Puffs and Ambush unveil their latest collaboration before it becomes available to the general public.
 
One of the pieces from the collection is the ‘Chrome Puff’, a metallic sphere-shaped purse-slash-bowl that comes with its foldable silver spoon so you can bring fashion to the breakfast table. The bag is US$149.99 but can also be won by playing through the Breakfastverse.
 

Reservations to the restaurant begin today on OpenTable, and the showing will commence on November 16.
