Microsoft Introduces Apple’s iCloud Photos To Its Windows 11 System
Soon you will no longer have to fish out your iPhone to search for a picture while working on your PC.
Apple and Microsoft are working together to integrate their software so that the iCloud Photos feature can be accessed directly from the Photos app in Windows 11.
The new system will be available after you update your Photos app on the Microsoft Store. After which, you will have to download and sign into the iCloud for Windows app to access the pictures on your Apple devices.
Once that is done, you can select to sync up your media, and then you will see a new tab on the Photos app called iCloud Photos, where all your images and videos stored under your iCloud account will appear.
Unfortunately, this will not be available for Windows 10 and below.
The new integration will be available by the end of this month for those working with a hybrid ecosystem of Microsoft and Apple products.
