Festive Calculator Shows How Many Decorations Are Ideal For Your Christmas Tree

The Christmas tree is, without a doubt, the centerpiece of your living room  during this festive period. It’s where you open presents, leave cookies and milk to help Santa fix a case of the midnight nibbles, and where you rock around to have a happy holiday, as the carol dictates.

However, if you’ve been following the same theme for years, it might be time to switch things up. The Christmas Tree World e-store has created a ‘Christmas Tree Decoration Calculator’ to help you decide the number of ornaments and lights you may need to perfectly dress up your tree.

The tool does its math by assessing your tree’s height and shape, as well as the size of most of your holiday baubles.

Importantly, it also looks at your preference for this year’s decorations—whether you want your tree to be “minimalist,” “jam-packed,” or “in between.”

As creatives, we’re some of the last people to enforce hard numbers on others, and Christmas Tree World agrees that there’s “no right or wrong way” to adorn your tree. You should, instead, view the recommendation as a simple guideline, rather than a rule.
