‘Hello Kitty’ & More Cats Join Netflix’s Library Of Mobile Games
Dare we say paw-some? If you haven’t heard by now, Netflix is now home to a selection of mobile games that come at no cost and are ad-free.
The streaming giant added nine new games to its roster in November, among which are two titles that will certainly tug at the heartstrings of cat lovers.
There’s Rogue Games’ Hello Kitty Happiness Parade, which is cuter than it sounds, impossible as that seems. You and two other friends have been tasked to perform a parade in perfect rhythm, but as it is with life, the happier you are, the more envy you draw. Your festivities garner the jealousy of Kuromi, who gangs up with her underlings to foil your party plans, throwing obstacles along your path.
The Hello-Kitty-meets-Guitar-Hero-meets-Mario-Kart is joined by other Sanrio favorites such as Pompompurin, My Melody, and Keroppi.
Next up is Neowiz’s Cats & Soup, where you’ll help felines in an enchanted forest stir up soup recipes. Remember to feed them fish that you catch! Cooking is hard work.

Outside of the cat-dominated realm is Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales, a match-three puzzle role-playing adventure set in a world of ’80s Saturday morning cartoons. As you advance through the game, you’ll collect enough rewards to gain supernatural abilities to battle baddies to the death.
The new lineup includes Country Friends, a farming simulation where you’ll move from the city to a lovely countryside occupied by friendly animals. The goal? Own the capitalists at SMOG Inc and encourage people to get on the side of farm-fresh farming.
Another interesting game in the mix is Reigns: Three Kingdoms, inspired by the ancient Chinese epic, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Set in the tumultuous final years of the Han dynasty, the game challenges players to make “high-stakes decisions” and strategize ways to gain power with the right army.
