LEGO Goes Bat-Crazy With Co-Designed Gaming PC That Looks Like A Haunted House

Those who grew up with LEGO will have retained the childlike conviction that you can make anything your heart desires from toy bricks, from the Eiffel Tower to tiny rollercoasters and even a life-sized car. But did you know you could craft a functioning gaming computer using those blocks too?
While technical nitty-gritties may be regarded as scary stuff by some, this monstrosity is something else. Earlier this year, LEGO Singapore worked with custom PC builder Aftershock PC to create a haunted house-themed gaming PC. They didn’t just decorate the chassis with stickers of pumpkins and vampires, no siree. The unit was constructed out of 20,000 bricks, and it looked more like a mansion than a digital powerhouse. The one-off design was unveiled by LEGO in time for Halloween.

The effort here is hair-raising. You pull a secret lever in the shape of a gargoyle to open the house’s innards. The structure features three levels of spooks, as well as a clock tower, all lit up by an eerie green and purple glow. The architecture itself sits on a cliff of bricks.

Aftershock, which previously gained international attention for building a bubble tea-inspired PC (complete with a realistic cup with moving boba inside), says the LEGO project is “quite possibly our craziest build yet.”
Specs-wise, the PC runs on an Intel i9-12900KF processor and GeForce RTX 3090. This Frankenstein’s monster of a build is meant for slaying nemeses in video games, after all.
