Wi-Fi Router Intuitively ‘Follows’ You Around The House For Optimal Connection

Are you tired of a Wi-Fi connection that cuts in and out when you move around your house? Well, join the club. A dodgy internet connection can be one of the most challenging things to deal with, especially when you’re trying to get through a nail-biting episode of a show or having a meeting while working from home.
 
MSI, a Taiwanese gaming and eSports company, wants to solve your connectivity pains with its RadiX BE22000 Turbo router that can intuitively move along with you and your devices. 
 
How the router “follows” you around is not by shadowing you like a Wi-Fi-enabled pet. Instead, it shifts and rotates its antenna position to pinpoint where a device hooked up to it is in the house.

Incidentally, MSI isn’t the first company to invent such a router as previously, TP-Link came up with its version of motorized antennae that can also rotate around to provide continuous wireless coverage.
 
MSI’s version can handle WiFi 7, and its AI QoS tech can reduce your ping when you are gaming. And with just a press of a button, it can even prioritize different types of content, such as streaming.
 
It’s easy to wonder if the router will prioritize the location of one device over another and if it will affect the connection between other gadgets in the same household.
 
The company is still putting it through the final bouts of testing to ensure the router can work through constant use. Engadget notes that upon seeing the RadiX at CES 2023, the device would eventually begin to slow down as it overheated.
 
MSI seems to be working towards making the intuitive router available to the market in 2024.
