Nothing says budding romance better than finding the perfect person to stay in with and binge-watching TV shows all day long. Your Netflix opinions could be a make or break for some people, and Bumble wants to crank up the romantic tension by giving potential couples a way to test their onscreen compatibility.
A newNetflix Nights Intie-in is a quiz you and your match can take to compare your opinions on shows such as Stranger Things, Squid Game, Money Heist, and just about anything else in its roster.
The game happens weekly, and both matches must answer questions before their responses are revealed to each other. Bumble has employed the services of Ashley Park from Emily in Paris, Alexa Lemieux from Love is Blind, Outer Banks’ Jonathan Daviss, and Selling Sunset’s Amanza Smith to host the challenge.
Since many Bumble users probably also use the streaming site, they’d potentially want to make sure they can connect with a date through a shared interest in entertainment. And what better way to do that than to put your entertainment choices to a pop quiz?
According to statisticsin a survey initiated by Netflix, 42% of people would share theories on a series while on a date, and 86% of people enjoy having the same taste in shows as their partner. Bonding over the same content also bumps one’s potential to score a date and makes them more appealing; this is especially true for true-crime lovers.
Netflix Nights In will go live from January 30 to March 13 and will be accessible to lovestruck Bumble users across the US, Canada, and the UK.
