The next time you step into a Papa Johns restaurant abroad, don’t be surprised if it looks different from what you pictured, as the company has recently announced it would be refurbishing its international outlets with a new visual identity.
Aiming to bring about a “warm setting” in which customers can cozily snack on a pizza, the brand’s refreshed look is highlighted through several components of the store’s interior, including its colors, lighting, and décor.
Of course, part of the change will benefit the pizzeria’s employees, with the “streamlined and flexible” environment making it easier to serve customers more efficiently, and ensure the quality of food doesn’t disappoint.
This modern design follows the rollout of new stores across North America last year, with special care taken to select a palette, surface materials, and messaging that both indulges the senses and provides visual cues to reinforce the brand’s standout products.
For example, the colors chosen for the interior were inspired by premium pizza ingredients, such as Tangy Tomato (red), Fresh Basil (green), Fluffy Dough (off-white), and Punchy Garlic (light purple) that will feature as playful accents within the space.
Artwork depicting the firm’s new “hand-drawn happiness” illustration style will hang on the walls, drawing attention to the brand’s vibrancy and as a nod to the hand-crafted nature of how it makes its pizzas.
As is with most outlets in today’s day and age, each outlet will come equipped with digital screens and ordering kiosks to help customers choose and customize orders in a sleek and seamless experience with the least wait time.
