Anna Delvey Will Host Dinner Parties Under House Arrest In New Reality Series

You’ve got to hand it to Anna Delvey for fashioning opportunities out of thin air. Her name was uttered at the dinner tables, with reverence, by New York City’s most successful people years ago, and then again in the dining rooms of millions when Netflix released its limited drama series, Inventing Anna, last year. Now, the fake heiress will host at one of these parties. While under house arrest.

Another television series centered around the fake-it-to-make-it socialite, whose real name Anna Sorokin, is headway. This time, it will be unscripted. Produced by Wheelhouse Entertainment and Butternut, Delvey’s Dinner Club will see Delvey host intimate, by-invitation-only dinners at her East Village apartment. The shrewd fashionista was released from jail about three months ago and is now under house arrest, following a high-profile mission to fleece high-banking individuals into helping her acquire the monumental 281 Park Avenue building and convert it into an arts center.

Most people spent their version of a house arrest, the lockdown, with mindful activities like baking and caring for their plants. Well, not Delvey, who was organizing art shows in the outside world even when she was kept behind bars. With her upcoming reality series, she’ll invite an esteemed rotation of actors, musicians, socialites, founders, and other influential names each week to make conversation around a table of courses planned by a private chef. No topic is out of bounds at these intimate parties, accordingly.

Delvey tells Page Six in an exclusive interview that there’s “nothing like the experience” of having “a curated group of friends” engage in each other’s life stories over a beautiful feast. While her guests are nourished by intellectual tidbits,  Delvey will seize the chance to reclaim her narrative and serve “a glimpse of the real Anna Delvey,” the press release explains.

She’ll also spend this time recounting her first-hand experience with the criminal justice system, as well as share her plans for the future.

As for who her dream guests might be, Delvey names Madonna, Elon Musk, and Marina Abramovic as some of the celebrities she hopes to welcome at her home, as well as Sam Bankman-Fried, who is also under house arrest for fraud charges associated with his cryptocurrency exchange firm FTX.
