Louis Vuitton Doles Out Fortune Cookie Bags With Secret Messages Inside

With the Lunar New Year celebrations still ongoing around the world, it seems there’s no better time for Louis Vuitton to launch its brand-new Fortune Cookie bag, which, yes, is essentially a pouch in the shape of a giant fortune cookie. 

The purse, which first made an appearance during the brand’s spring/summer 2023 runway show, features two components—the actual cookie part made out of calf leather sporting the fashion house’s monogram, and the transparent packaging it comes in that is created from PVC. 

According to the high-fashion label, both pouches can be carried separately, as the cookie is attached to its own wristlet, while the transparent bag can be held on to just like a clutch. The most whimsical part? Each Fortune Cookie comes with its own secret message. 

As outlined in the photos, one of the messages reads, “Draw something you can’t explain.” Another quips, “Creativity listens to the heart.”

Of course, like its luxury burger box, this fortune cookie won’t be as affordable as the ones you get from your favorite restaurant. Each set retails at an astonishing US$2,310, but with how it’s gone viral on the internet, it won’t be surprising if the Maison sells out of these soon.
