Razer Amps Up The Stealth For Long Gaming Sessions With Its Lightest-Ever Mouse

With an incredibly light mouse that weighs only 1.7 ounces, Razer pushes the envelope of gaming efficiency.

The Viper Mini Signature Edition, its lightest mouse yet, is constructed from a more robust material—with components like injection-molded magnesium alloy—to create its intricate frame, which conceals its chassis. The use of magnesium reduces weight while also enhancing durability.

The company claims the overall product is lighter than titanium and more rigid than plastic.

On the surface level, the mouse might seem understated, but it does pack a punch. It comes packaged with Razer’s 30K optical sensor for better control and a 4000 HZ wireless polling rate despite not being attached to a computer with a wire. Though, if you’d prefer, it also carries a USB Type A to USB Type C cable for wired support.
 
With that, the mouse can be charged wirelessly. Once juiced up, it can last for 60 hours on a 90-minute charge. 

Boxed with the device are a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Mouse Feet set, two Razer Mouse Grip Tape sets, and a microfiber cloth to keep it squeaky clean.
 
The Viper Mini Signature Edition launches on February 11 at 11 pm ET (8 pm PT) and will retail for US$279.99.
