Garmin Debuts Sleek Smartwatch That First Disguises Itself As A Classic Analog

Adding a bespoke watch to your outfit often elevates the look from simple to classy. Even so, with the new wave of smartwatches that have overtaken the accessory scene, sometimes an elegant dress or a business suit clashes with a bright screen flooded with notifications.
 
Garmin is looking to bring style back to the smartwatch scene with its hybrid Vivomove Trend, a device that stays incognito as an analog timepiece to the untrained eye.

When not in use, the device has real hands that tell the time. However, once you get a text or want to check the number of steps you’ve done, the hands move aside to make way for its digital screen.
 
From there, the display can reveal your heart rate, workout stats, calls, social media updates, emails, and Garmin Pay. It can also track your sleep, breathing, and blood oxygen and help you keep up with pregnancy vitals and menstrual cycles. 

On its back, it hosts Qi-certified charging pads for wireless charging. Each charge should last you five days.

It can essentially do everything any other smartwatch does, except it hides its capabilities behind an elegant face.

Vivomode Trend comes in slate, cream gold, peach gold, and silver, and it can be paired with an array of different bands that come in nylon, leather, suede, silicone, and metal.
