Apollo 11 Rings Through These Headphones That Coldplay’s Bassist Helped Create

 
Coldplay’s bassist, Guy Berryman, and audio company Master & Dynamic have come together to launch a pair of headphones that have some out-of-this-world inspiration.
 
The MH40 Applied Art Forms got its name from Berryman’s fashion label that he started in 2020, which takes on utilitarian and military design forms. So it’s no surprise that when dreaming up a form factor for the gadget, both the musician and the audio house looked to the stars.

In that sense, they took inspiration from the space-race era of galactic exploration, as seen in the headphones’ beige, red, blue, and white colorway, highly reminiscent of astronaut suits. The aluminum hardware is also a nod to rockets, specifically the Apollo 11.
 
This particular version does not differ from Master & Dynamic’s typical range. It houses a 40mm neodymium driver for balanced listening, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and 18 hours of battery life, so you can listen to Coldplay all day long if you please.

The only downside to these may be that there are only 75 pairs in production. The MH40 is going for US$399 and might be snatched up as quickly as the band’s concert tickets are.
