Near-Invisible Hearing Aids Tune Into The World Without Drawing Attention

Well, they’re not invisible, but they are so tiny that no one can even see they’re in your ears. The ‘Eargo 7’s are self-fitting over-the-counter hearing aids that place control back into the hands of the user. Their compact design allows users to keep the fact that they are wearing a hearing aid on the down low.

They also link to a company companion app, allowing you to sort through different options via the SoundAdjust+ technology. They adapt the device to any environment and automatically adjust the sound around their user. So if you want to filter out more ambient sound or emphasize speech, you can also toggle through the different options as needed. Furthermore, a proprietary petal-shaped insert at the tip gives a more natural and comfortable feel inside one’s ear.

For the battery life, the Eargo 7 has 16 hours of runtime and can juice up in just six hours. It also has a sleek charging case for those constantly on the go.

What’s more, it has an IPX7 rating, which means you can take it with you on workouts or even into the shower.

The Eargo 7 is now available online for US$2,590.
