Tiffany & Co Rounds Up Nike Collab With Exclusive 23-Pound Silver Shoebox

Just a week after Tiffany & Co unveiled surprise Nike Air Force 1s to match the pair from its original collaboration, the jewelry house has yet another stunt left in the bag to round up the highly-anticipated launch: an exclusive 23-pound silver shoebox.

Complementing the silver hardware accessories that come with each pair of sneakers, the Nike/Tiffany Air Force 1 1837 shoebox was exquisitely handcrafted by the brand’s artisans using age-old silversmithing techniques.

Of course, not every pair of sought-after shoes will be presented in this stunning shoebox. A representative for Tiffany told Highsnobiety that the creation is a “one-of-one” item and only “available upon request.”

Tiffany said that the shoebox took over 155 hours to complete, with craftsman laboring over the bending and cutting of raw silver, to the long process of polishing and etching so the final box could feature a scintillating shine and Nike’s Swoosh logo.
